This is a big part of Aikido history as represented by Michio Hikitsuchi Sensei, 10th dan Aikido. Hikitsuchi Sensei was one of the highest ranked students of O'Sensei, Morihei Ueshiba, founder of Aikido. Hikitsuchi taught/was from the Kumano Jyuku dojo in Shingu, Japan and has since passed.
